- Screenshots, PDFs and spreadsheets are read inside your browser. They are never uploaded.
- Saved days, team leads and settings are stored in this browser on this device only.
- No accounts, no ads, no tracking cookies. Only anonymous visit counts.
What the app does with your files
Reading screenshots and scanned PDFs, reading spreadsheets, and making the jobs and lunches all happen on your own device, using code that this website sends to your browser. The files you choose never leave your device. The website host only sends the website itself.
What is stored, and where
The app saves the following in your browser’s storage for this site:
- the people and shift times you add, and the jobs and lunches for each day,
- which people are team leads, so the app remembers them next time,
- the names you’ve scheduled before, so photo reading can fix misread names,
- your settings and your light or dark preference.
None of this is stored on any server. We can’t see it, and we can’t recover it for you. Backups, CSV files and printouts you create are saved wherever you choose. They contain names, so keep them safe.
Things to know
- Clearing your browser data erases saved days. Use Saved days → Download backup to keep a copy.
- Shared computers: anyone using the same browser can see saved days. Use Saved days → Erase everything when you’re done.
- Remembered names can be cleared any time with Saved days → Forget remembered names.
- Each device is separate. Nothing syncs between phones or computers.
Hosting and Cloudflare
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which delivers it from Cloudflare’s network. Like any website, delivering pages involves standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the visit, which Cloudflare may keep briefly in security logs. Cloudflare never receives your schedules, photos or files.
The app itself sets no cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. If the site asks you to sign in with an email code, that sign-in is handled by Cloudflare Access, which sees your email address. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Visit counts
To see how much the site is used, it uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It counts page views and records general information about each visit: the page, the site you came from, your browser and device type, your country, and how fast the page loaded. It sets no cookies, doesn’t use fingerprinting, and doesn’t follow you across other websites.
It never sees the names, schedules, photos or files you work with, because those never leave your browser.
Information about coworkers
Schedules contain coworkers’ names. Only add names and shift times, nothing else such as phone numbers or employee IDs, and follow your employer’s rules about sharing schedules.
Tips
The “Support this project” link opens Ko-fi, a separate website. Tipping is optional and doesn’t unlock anything. If you tip, Ko-fi and its payment providers (such as Stripe or PayPal) handle the payment under their own privacy policies. This site never sees your payment details, and the link carries no tracking.
Check it yourself
The code is open source, so anyone can confirm how it works: OPD Schedule Maker on GitHub.
Changes
If this ever changes, for example by adding optional shared storage, this page will be updated before it happens and the date above will change.
